USA DANCE KITSAP EXPANDING INTO AN EXCITING NEW VENUE!
April 17, 2008 marks a noteworthy change of venue for the Kitsap Chapter monthly dances. President Lee Malmborg with the support of board members has succeeded in arranging for our monthly dances and dance classes to be held at the Bremerton Masonic Temple at 878 5th Street, Bremerton, Washington.
Not only does this lovely vintage building host a plethora of available parking for the convenience of our members and guests, but most critical to dancers, a huge beautifully cared for wood dance floor. The ballroom also features a large stage for showcasing live bands, adjustable lighting and sturdy comfortable seating.
The plusses to the acquisition of this new venue are too numerous to mention here. Mark your calendar for Seven o’clock P.M. the third Saturday of every month to experience the dancer friendly atmosphere provided by the USA Dance Board of Directors and members. USA Dance strives to rise to the challenge of limited local ballroom dancing and enhance ballroom dance opportunities by creating and facilitating regularly scheduled, ongoing, reliable, quality events for your dancing and learning pleasure.
Note: Dancers please bring leather soled shoes only to this new venue. Rubber soles, thongs, or tennis/athletic shoes are not allowed as they damage the floor. Ladies: No backless shoes, thongs, or wedges permitted. They are unsafe and inhibit your ability to maneuver on the dance floor.
